super bit charge mosfets

I've got a super bit/porsche. It seems to have an extreme amount of torque. Can somebody check the mosfets and see if they are putting out less ohms. I put a 3.8 in it and it still has tons more torque then the old stocks. In fact any motor I put in seems to achieve it's top speed very rapidly in the new bits.

Also has anybody experienced any glitches yet? mine sometimes continues to go forward or back after I let off the gas. I wasn't pushing anything else either.

Yup mine does the very same thing. And the tires spin quite a lot on take off. Even with the stock 1.6. I put a KIT 2.6 in my LP500 till I get something better. Man does it ever spin now!

My range seems to be slightly better than average for an unmodded bit. I definately get more than 5 or 6 feet though.

My range is pretty darn good. It sounds like tomy forgot to use quality control on these cars.

Also, my prsche's chassis has a very low ground clearing. It kept catching on little pieces of crud on the ground, or it would catch easily on carpet. I wipped out my dremmel and went to town. Made the ground clearence higher. It doesn't get caught on crap now.

I don't own one of these cars yet, but I'd bet the smaller rear wheel diameter has a lot to do with the increase in torque.

The tires on the new ones are the exact same size a pullback wheel. Not as wide mind youn but same height.

Right... and, that smaller diameter is what delivers the extra torque.

Not sliding wheels, just lots of wheelspin on takeoff. Seems to be due to the slightly smaller rear tires

They all have about 0.1 ground clearance (none) but a set of 9.5mm alloy's will take care of that!

Jono, sorry I never got back with you. Mine is 27mhzB. As far as why some get good range and some don't, well that's a bit of a mystery, to me at least. I've tried all the range modifications, but some just won't get much better. It's a fact we have to live with. Until I became a communications electronics guru, then I just wont understand it fully.

I do know that most bit/micro cars don't have enough power going to their antenna though. They have weak signals because of weak design.

Take r/c planes for example. They use controllers that put bit controllers to shame and they average about 200~800ft range.

Oh, and Tari, those rims are money. That's my next project.

Hey, anybody check those mosfets yet? I have a cheap multimeter, but I'm not sure exactly how to test it. Also, it's cheap. It might not be able to test it.

I just ordered a bunch of batteries. As soon as they get here I'll dual cell the super bit. I'll let you guys know how it comes out and compares to the old ones. Right now the stock super does seem to have alot on my old stocks, if I could just fix that friggin sticking problem!
