New toys
I just recently sold my bit char-g 350z on eBay because the range on it was horrible (I'm attributing that to it being a non-US frequency)
Got a zip zap and some goodies as a replacement today, and well..damn..the range is almost double the bit char-g, right out of the box!
Too bad they didn't sell the yenko camaro as a kit, would have saved me $7...
There's my new goodies
I got the RX8 set with the chrome controller, the 2f2f body set (my girlfriend loves the pink car), and the yenko
Now if only there was a `65 mustang available *sigh*
Oh yea, my 100mAH NiMH cells are in the pic also, I'm going to dual cell this puppy tonight probably. I was wondering what types of motors last the longest with a dual cell setup? Or for that matter, are there any motors to stay away from? I was probably going to order whatever the faster motor that works for this car is from the shop here.
oh yea, and if anybody wants the RX8 body, let me know, its a cool car and all, but I prefer muscle cars...

nice!
Nice toys blind!
I just bought my first zipzap the other day. It's the burgundy mustang cobra. I love it. I too wish they sold the muscle cars in the 2f2f kit with the NX motor. I guess I'll have to fork over the extra cash to get the kit with the NX motor even though I dont like the bodies and then buy the muscle cars separate. Your chrome controller is awesome! I've never seen that one around my area. Good luck on the mod dude!
Here's a pic of my new zap. Please excuse the poor quality...I dont have a decent dig. cam. yet.

yea, my local RS was sold out of the cobra's or I would have that instead of the RX8, it worked out good though, thats how I got the chrome controller (which is too small for my hands! Its the same size as any zip zap controller though)
dual cell works, I just need to take my controller apart so I can steal the charging bay and plug it into my peak charger for my bigger hobbies.
Next mod will be getting some better / wider tires for the back of this camaro, it looks silly with the skinny rubber bands on it!

is it a us buyer or not. and the motor that would last the most is the old control motor now it is the stock but very slow . my favorite motor is nitrious express motor because of the speed.

Sorry pal, if you pick up that tuner kit, your going to need to get a new starter set too because the red Corbra has the old PCB in it, so the NX motor will not work to its full potential in your car, and nor will the Racing motor.

Please help me to raise my self-esteem. I don't handle criticizm well and when I do, I usually go cry into a pillow and scream and break things. In short, be nice to me (it may be hard though through all of my annoyance). Thanks pal!

those tires are fat!
Can you get a pic of what the packaging and/or car looked like that you got the tires off of?

I don't have the package for the car that those tires came from. It was a motorworks car at Walmart. Some motorworks have taller rear tires the standard width, this one had the smaller diameter but wider rear tires. You see which ones are in the package, they have a clear rectangle case with black base. A search for motorworks on this forum should find some pics, I have seen several posted.
