well it's a little hard to tell...I can't tell how much contact it actually makes with the motor. Based on the general design of it I'd say that yeah it'll reduce heat more than the stock one. (the raised little tabs will help disipate heat better especially with air blowing over them) But it also depends on how much contact it makes with the motor...I'd say go for it! It looks like it's worth a try.

its really hard to tell if it actually reduces heat...only way to know s if ur motor is actually running hot...if it is i doubt those actually help i got one and i didn't even botehr putting it on...it looks exactly the same as teh stock ones just for a bit so i dont think u could even fit it on a zap with out some modifying...but if u think u need it go ahead and wast the money on a piece of metal...that holds teh engine in place

Think about it this way. My Motorworks car has no heat sink and has been run constantly for over month. The motor is just as god as the day I bought it.

They are made of aluminum, that in itself will dissapate heat better and faster than steel. I got one myself just to check it out.

One of my motorworks motors started actin funny (sometimes fast, sometimes not) after running with 3 cells, and that was with a Zip Zap heatsink on it.

I like the new perfection heat Sinks especially the black one. It just seems to complement the already matte black chassis.

couldnt have said it better myself. i mean they do help disipate heat but even at3.6v you aint gona overheat. some guy did tests and he didnt have motor breakdown until like 12v. if you are that worried about it just glue a small piece of aluminum to the existing heatsink.

if you want a cooler looking heatsink then go ahead and buy it(even tho nobody sees it cuz the body is on).

i dont think that it makes much of a difference. I would only buy it because of the gold color and the design.
