Lightbulb My extended range mod ;x

No pics, but if you have a short antenna...instead of spending your time and money on the equiptment and soldering a new antenna. You can always use...

(drumroll)

aLuMiNuM foiL!

Remember when we(or some of us) used foil on our tv antennas when we didn't have cable?

sure you'll get remarks like..."(name here), daym, that's ghetto"

but in the end, if you don't have the time to solder, buy equiptment, or even mess up your controller...this is the mod for you.

LAZY AZZ! ;D

:D

I used about 6' and my range went about 40-50 feet from 20 feet originally. I gotta try measuring it, but once you make the antenna+foil so long, you won't see any range improvement.

I used a paper clip once. It worked but slowed the car down.

hmm i wrapped the antenna on the car with it then twisted it to make it thin i curlled it into a coil and tucked it under the body with the sorta internal antenna mod i got around the same too like an extra 3 feet of distance with the anteena in the car i got like a extra 4-5feet with it sticking out though mine was kinda thick so it weighd it down and whenn it was sticking out the center of grav was messed up
