Q's about LXX booster + best place for bits

Will the controller's boost function work with a reglar bit or a zipzap. My Zip don't turn right but the wires look fine so I think its controller. I want to possibly buy the LXX booster+ Perfection from toy east but dunno if its worth it just for controller, bodies & motors for $12 + a monster shipping rate. I need your opinions.

Edit: Where is the best place to get bits cheap (Hobbylink Japan type of prices) with good shipping rates & booster car sets in America?

hmm heat, i got about 200 bucks worth of stuff on order right now... havent payed, but the stuff is coming....

20 aint too much, considering it's a booster and 2 bodies.. it's 13 for 2 bodies here... ur in toronto rite? im thinking.. if you just mail the damn thing, then it'd be about... 25 bucks total... at most. do you think you could find the red supra for me? *dont* buy it yet... i gotta see how much i can pull together..
