Dang it. I can't find much of anything in my area. There's a hobby store that has some Precious cars (BitCharG clone) for $20, and MicroSizers for $30 (yikes!). And Toys R Us has some Hot Wheels KIT cars that I can nab for spare parts. And of course there's Radio Shack for ZipZaps. Oh, and I spotted some Micro Blasts at KB Toys for $15.

But the Wal Mart stores around here don't have *anything*. I keep hearing people talking about finding Bit clones for like $10, and I get so jealous

I want to find some really cheap clones so I can start modding them without worrying too much about the cost, in case I ruin one.

What I really wish is that I could find a bunch of chassis cheaply. I don't really need extra controllers, after all.

Maybe one day I'll break down and mail-order some.

you should check ebay they have cars for as low as 2 bucks!!!

The cars are $2 but the shipping is usually 5 or 6

Went to the mall again today. I resisted the urge to buy one of those Micro Blast Racers until I hear from somebody else if they are any good or not. The bodies look really cheap! Does anybody know anything about them? I thought I saw somebody say tha they're 1/64 scale, so they might have some compatibility with ZipZaps? Do they have swappable motors and gears?

But, I did wind up buying another Hot Wheels K.I.T. car for parts. And I'll probably try modifying a K.I.T. body to fit on one of my Bit compat chassis. And I also picked up a Car Tunerz, just to see if I could make the body fit on something.

Then I stepped over to the hobby shop and bought a Micro Sizers silver Honda S2000 (27MHz), just because I had some money burning a hole in my pocket
