Ugh.

How can you just say America vs Imports and expect to gain anything constructive?

Both countries have produced an endless amount of amazing cars, and will hopefully continue to do so.

That being said, I'm terribly upset with redisigns of cars on both sides of this war. The new 06 Impreza is fugly, and I am very turned off by the looks of the new GTO (looks like an overweight Cavalier) and the Charger, which completey abandoned its roots (and I sell Dodge's for a living....so don't tell my boss).

It depends on what you want. The classic American muscle car is pure power by design. It's easy for guys to work on in their on drive way and they have some of the best looking bodies ever made. The import tuner aka rice burner is small, fuel effecient for regular use both with a few add on parts and a tweaked computer they can be quick as hell. The modern American car has sort of lost it's way. I'm a fan of the new Mustang but everything else seems to have forgatten it's roots. Most of the classic muscle car names have been reborn into family sedans, and some of those don't even have good power. I think the CHarger would be a great car agin if you could get it in a door coupe.

I hear ya, but why buy a Skyline when you can get an Elise? I think people just think about power, but look at a skyline and really look at it its not so stylisticly correct (it looks bland) compared to an Elise. And If you have ever seen the original skylines you know that they took a while to produce into good looking cars. And you can never turn down real american muscle like the Corvette Stingray or the Sunbeam Alpine.

Yeah to many people are into hi-hop, i don't get it! Not saying anything racist here but whenever I ask someone if they listen to Classic Rock they say (mostly from hispanics and africans and what I hate the most ghetto indians- as in from india) "man rocks gay its for stupid white people" I'm serious they say that it makes me really angry. Then I ask them if they know who Jimi Hendrix is or Lenny Kravitz and then they shutup.

I know its off topic but hey its my topic anyway so I dont really care.
