my skyline
im in the process of painting my skyline body silver. the paint im using is cheap but works very good. its PLASTI-KOTE spray paint fast dry enamel and its about $2 a can at walmart. u can ever get chrome for $3

worked fine for me....turns out that the cap color on my paint was wrong. the good news the color on the can is 150s CHROME. my car is so shiney right now. u just gotta paint in small coats. for my first coat it was so light that u could still see alot of yellow. u just have to keep putting on light coats and it comes out fine. i gotta clear coat my car then i will have pics up tomorrow.
was the paint u used 159 PEWTER? it has a metal flake to it.
if it was i used that on one of my model cars and it came out fine. it just looks like crap now cuz i burned it!!  . u gotta prime b4 u use the pewter stuff

o i primers and did very small coats it did stick good at all and yes it was pewter. i am goingt o use a kryolon next tiem i think they are the best imo

can u say bling bling? its chrome with gold accents. the grill and the intakes are gold, the taillight housing is gold, the sides of the spoiler are gold, all the wipers front and back are gold, as well as the gas cap.

Practice makes perfect, undoubtably, the next time you will do better with the paint.
Not too shabby for your first time as long as you are satisfied. I would have gone with different colors though...

well last night i masked off the windows again and sanded down the rough parts of the body and put a nice smooth coat over them. i also made the eyelids silver as well as the tailights so it owuldn't look bad
i will have pics later
