today i did a test on which was best and i figured that the yellow zipzap motor with green or red gears are best for speed but not handling

the nos xpress motor is pretty fast, but the king 4.2 is faster
but if speed is all you want, do the mosfet mod on just the forward h-bridge

Were you aware that they are exactly the same thing?
Both the MS teal and the ZZ red are 8.25:1 ratios.
My fastest has been with the purple motor and the 8.25:1 gearset. It's generally the gearset i use on everything except dual cells. i use 9.86:1 on those for more control.

thoeretically they are the same gear ratio and all, and i find that certain clone gears mesh better with the ms pinion gear
but who cares, if you got no handles, then go straight all you want

All I use are the black 6 tooth pinions that MS seems to put in every accessory kit. Well, that's not true, strictly, as I use the Zip Zap too.
I haven't seen much diff, but I'l try mixing them up to see.
It is an interesting idea. I suppose I could look at them side by side under a microscope at work too. Not that I'm an expert.
Actually the assumption that they are made idetically, or by the same company was all mine!

It's Nitrous Express, not NOS Express. Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) and Nitrous Express (NX) are competing companies both selling nitrous oxide.
