zip zap se

i was just at radio shack returning my se since it had the defective turning.

i talked to the manager and he was saying that the first cars they made were defective. the savana and enifi. he said to keep an eye out for the next version or the fixed se

i'm assuming those will be with the mustang and the audi TT

Well, I can tell you that the '05 Stangs that I got seemed to have the stuttering issues resolved. Mine stuttered after first turning then on for the first time, and never did after that. One of them still had the unequal steering in which it turned wider to the left.

I didn't really notice any difference in the torque though.

I am glad that they worked on some of the issues. I am going to take my se back and get the stang. I have alot of issues with mine as well, but I'm not going to give up on them yet.

The first yellow enfini rx7 Zip Zap se I bought had the steering problem and the short run time problems mentioned before. I exchanged it for another yellow enfini, and the run time between charges was worse. The steering worked fine though. I did a voltage check on the alkaline batteries in the transmitter and they were very low. Apparently, the original car somehow caused an excessive drain on these batteries in a short period of time. After replacing the batteries in the transmitter, the second car worked perfectly!! So there still is hope for these cars. Once you get one that wotks the way it should, they are fantastic little cars.

Radioshack is really nice about returns. Everytime I wanted to return or exchange something they let me.
