Handheld Fan motors

does any one know if those handheld fans with the same style of motors as audleys would be as fast or faster then stock

its hard to say as there a different types of fans, but my guess is that its faster than stock

I;m talking about the ones with the clear cases and thin paper like blades not the ones with the hard plasic blades

i put a motor from a fan and it was a little bit faster, i took it from the ones u can get from the dollar store that use 2aa batts. The fans have HARD plastic blades. I heard if u use motors from those cheap toothbrushes like crest spin brush theyre very good too.

but the fans with the hard blades have round larger motors
how did you make it fit

I dont think I'll take apart a toothbrush
any other motors you know of that you can buy in stores

What kind of cars do you have

well whatever u do i think what u should really consider is a relay mod, for about $5 or least with a huge increase in power i dont think u can go wrong

does it make it that much faster even with stock motor and gearbox
how hard its the presodered kit from chris ketella to install
I think I would order a motor and spring supspention with it too

yes it is "that" much slower with the stock gearbox and wheels, once u install the relays and new wheels with gearing its gonna fly. Im not really sure how hard it is to install but looking at the diagram it doesnt look to hard as all the parts are big so soldering should be easy

yeah but the gear box is more then I paid for my car
can I do the relays only and probably a new motor them put it the gear box after
