Pie, pity I don't have MSN or ICQ. As for the 22B, it was a VERY limited edition version of the Subaru WRX with the 2-door widebody kit, a ton of internal mods and RHD only. If you're interested in a little more info, I think I posted some in the "Initial D" thread in the Bit forum.
And as for me personally, yeah, I was into cars waaay before Bits and all came out, but then, I had one of the old school R/C cars waaay before I could drive too. Talking about the kind that used the toggle/dual stick controller for forward, backward and left, right. Also, by the time I put my car back together, it will be able to hold 1200+hp, but I'm not going to mod it that far. That is literally a drag only monster and I'm really not into the whole drag scene. I'm going to push it to about 600 hp. That way, I can still use it as a daily driver, and it can be tuned for practically zero turbo-lag which will make it a good drift/autocross/road course car which is where my interests lie.
I did get into Bits when I first saw one but I've sinced moved on/up. The initial fascination was obviously with the fact that I could have a fully controllable RC car the size of a Hotwheels, but then I discovered DigiQs and once I got one of those, I promptly started giving away my Bits and Bit clones to my friends' kids. Now I only have two clones and one disassembled clone left. The two full clones haven't even been opened up yet. Untouched since I got the DigiQs, but I'll probably give them to more friends' kids when I get around to it. Funny thing is of course, that I'm trying to sell the DigiQs now 'cuz I have an Epoch and a Mini-X and I need a few more parts for the VR-4. Also I'm 31. Might seem like a long way to go for some forum members but I think I read a thread that showed quite a lot of guys my age and older on this forum. Have to admit, that was quite pleasantly surpising. Pity of course that it seems in this area, male hobbyists outnumber females by at least 100:1.
Oh, and I like your mentality about keeping your culture. I'm that way too. Open-minded and willing to explore new things and ideas, but not at the expense of forsaking my heritage and culture. Racism unfortunately exists, but I'm fortunate not to be faced with it very often. Either that or I've learned to ignore it when I do.
