as for speed, motors and gears are the answer.... mine's not all that fast either... but it's fast enuf to flip and slide pretty far, that's all i know...
as for range... ur antenna shouold be folded under the PCB and knotted... unfold the whole damn thing and route it straight out the back like in the picture of the toyeast heatsink... somewhere in this forum...
*there is a very real possibility of some busted wires occuring when you do this...
