I had actually made my own multi-band controller from a microsizer controller and shen crystals, but the range wasn't very good (about 14 feet or so), that's why I was looking to get the "official" multi-band.
I wonder if adding a telescoping antenna would help at all?
I know it's a "passive" mod, but it helped my microsizer controller out a lot (compared the the lousy "whip" style antenna).
