That's fine for your dictionary, but that's not addressing the issue. It's only defining the role of a heat sink.
These motor clips aren't heat sinks.
The clips are doing WAY more motor holding than heat dissapating on any given day.
And do these motors in stock vehicles really heat up? The answer is no.
You are being misled by a company who has everything to gain my "pumping up" the importance of stuff like this. That's how they sell you stuff.
Please tell me the exact temperature of your stock vehicle's motor when it's done a normal run and why this requires a heat sink?
Then explain why a piece supposedly designed as a heat sink makes contact with less than 2% of the body of the motor it's supposedly protecting from heat? Any "heat" transferred to these clips is accidental at best.
This is an extremely POOR design for a heat sink.
I'm sorry, but engineering wins out over hype. These are motor clips. Don't be misled!
