good news, and bad news...

1. bad news. k, dieselboy.. i looked in the fone book last night for a couple hours... and still cant find that battery place... i called radio shack to ask, but they didnt have it... im gonna try again 2day, maybe i missed their add in the yellow pages or something..

2. Good News!! kit racer motors kick some serious ass... i got the 2.6 yesterday (10 bucks, good deal at zellers) with the RPM set... it completely eats the tomy 2.6 alive, both in torque and top speed, and against the 3.0, the top speed is comparable.. but with teal gears, the KIT 2.6 hits top end in about 1.5 feet, whereas the 3.0 takes about 6.. the 3.0 will go slightly faster, but it doesnt matter, considering the 2.6 is already ahead by so much...

also, light blue gears and the 2.6 pulls a short wheelie (single cell) on my friend's pool table talk about torque.... this thing's a monster! aaaanndd... i just took a look at the charger for the kit racer... 1rst, the chassis is a good cycler/warmer-upper for motors, (hehe) and the charging station May be able to be modded to fit a bit.. but in short, go get that RPM or MPH KIT racer! the motor's the best damn thing next to a 3.5 bitmod or the r-spec...

3. for Swavey : i was just wondering... are there any hop up motors in japan? im thinking, cuz the scene there is so much bigger, they should have some high quality, fast motors kicking aroudn right? (like, on par with the 3.5 or r-specs) do you think you could bring a couple back along with the auto modellista set and the supra for me? (i checked comex hobby yesterday, freakin $80 and $60) oh, and my friend also wants a bit if it's not too much trouble.. he's willing to wait for the great price , but i'll see exactly which one he wants... thx again!!

4. ralliart- you can lower by cementing or super glueing new tabs (use your old school ID card if it's thick enuf, or unused credit cards) to the bottom of the front tab, and then sanding/dremmeling the top down until you get the the desired height... i havent tried it yet, but my friend has some model cement, so im gonna be dropping it in the next few days or so hopefully.. heh good luck =)

strip, prime, use model paint, then clearcoats!! a good paint job is hard tho... im not sure how to do one =\
