yea.. i was thinking of the same thing (it will get less light going through) cause it would be rough. but i was wondering, would it be able to polish? use fine grit sand paper after it was shaved down. use like, maybe 1200 - 1400 grit. then using turtle wax rubbing compound, then polish with the other turtle wax product after. i wonder if it would be as clean and keep it's brightness, and even maybe be brighter, cause the light would have less to travel through to get ou.
