hmm... that's funny... i've had zero problems with the ZZs i've purchased...
as far as RS employees selling ZZs on ebay, i believe that the company has a policy against this, but you should realize that many RS stores are franchisees, and not company-owned...
btw, i don't think it's a good idea to buy any Zz stuff off ebay right now (unless you're desparate -- but for a $19 retail toy?)
