I had my bit since last year when me and my neighbor were the only kids that had them, and i think bits, ZZ's, and Microsizers have become popular because they are now available in local hobby stores and Radio Shack. They weren't popular before because the only way to get a bit was to go to an Asian country like Japan, or Hong Kong or get a bit from ebay.
