Well i saw a difference with different combos bt, a definite increase in stability when I changed my stab. to hard from soft when using medium tires up front and hard in the back. Where as when i used the same tire set up and a soft stab. it would do donuts everytime i turned. To test my theory i then changed the tires to mediums all around and got the same results. The only time the soft stab. didn't make the car do donuts is when I put hard tires up front. So I believe that all components affect performance even the stabs. But since everyone uses different tuning settings, maybe you just havn't had the need to change your stab.
