it was a logo i scanned from the autoscale box printed to fit page on an avery letter size label which i then covered with clear packing tape to prevent paint bleed. just peeled and stuck to the case and trimed out the areas with an xacto knife, covered the rest with a trash bag and painted.
the cutting to the longest and everything was done in about 1.5 hours.
