we've had to replace transmitters and i consider the KT-18 to be kinda buggy... if you can, go ahead and upgrade to an M11/3PK with the adapter/module. if you keep having problems, just have them replace it for ya. sometimes little issues can be fixed with resetting and repairing though so... try that first
