Part of the problem is just that... Their "measurement" of batteries is based on alkalines which are 1.5V whereas NiMH are 1.2V. Using the batteries is a neverending battle and hence the reason I made mine "convertible"

Even with fresh NiMH batts I am lucky to see 2 full dNano battery charges out of one set.
