Driving with the stabilizer bar does limit the independant action of the springs. One of my cars had the spring mod. It worked fine. I did not have a noticeable change in handling. My track is very smooth. I think the independant suspension would be beneficial if your racing on a rougher surface. I changed my car back to stock and did not notice any difference.

The mod is a little tricky to do. It takes a steady hand and lots of patience to get the front end back together. You may have to do it a couple of times till you get the springs the right height. If they are to long the steering will not work.
