After looking around this and bitpimps forums some more, I got around to modding the bit a little. I put in a ZZ red motor, which fit after playing around with it. It doesn't fit perfect, but it does fit, and work well. I also removed the crippling capacitor from the transmitter and the car.
Removing the capacitor from the car made me a bit nervous, since I'm a novice at soldering, and I didn't want to get any stray solder on other components, but I did the best I could, and it worked.
With the ZZ red motor, and the cripplling capacitor removed, the car runs much better. I still like the ZZ's better, but at least I like my bit now. The bit steers better than the ZZ's, and isn't as prone to spinning out of control like my ZZ's. It also seems to run faster than most of my ZZ's with the red motor (but not my "Cars" chassis zips).
Now I have a question. After looking around the forums, I found a lot of people think the best motor for the bit is the Perfection 3.8. Where can I get it? Also my zip bodies seem to have clear headlights and tail lights, which are just begging to be lit up. Are there any easy ways to put lights there? Thanks in advance for all of your help.
