you could stack stock FETs on each other, but they are a real pain to unsolder without breaking a leg off. AA's won't change anything but your run times, and slow you down since they're heavier. The voltage limit on the gen one is smaller than the evos. The driving fets are the same on gen1, both are the same kind. Stacking FETs means you have to cut the heat sink on the bottom.
