I have found that Tower Hobbies has a servo for pretty much any purpose. I have order many things from them over the years and have always been satisfied.
The reason I ask about other electronics is because I think that the XMODS servo controller is on the same board as the receiver and speed controller - meaning that an aftermarket servo wouldn't be a simple plug-and-play situation.
