Solder???
Thanks Thorsten,
I figured the electrical solder I use would be ok. I have used it many times to solder heavy electrical wires with no problems.
I already use a 45 watt iron on all of my electrical work. The iron I have has interchangable elements and I can go up to 65 watts so I will upgrade to that.
I know cleaning the work piece is the most important thing. Also light sanding is good to get the brass to stick together. Also flux is good to help with heat transfer and it also helps to clean the material as you heat it.
Thanks again for the reply. Hopefully I can build this thing. I've been to your site many times and you have some awsome stuff. Great work you have done. I will let you guys know how my project is going as time goes by.
Later
