when i drift this is my setup:

front tires: bit racer hard
back tires: bit racer soft (medium on TheFanMan's track)
softest stablizer bar
blue acceleration gearing
bensu 3.0 (my dirty TOMY 3.0 went and died )

i have no problem getting the car to drift, but its hard for me to exit the turn.. i usually spin out or end up making donuts
when using hard tires, use slightly softer tires in the back, but hard enough to drift with. Also, if you simultaneously accelerate and turn from a standstill or a near standstill, the car is much more likely to spin, especially with hard tires on smooth surfaces.

wee...i sit on my hardwood floor and figure these things out for hours at a time

Extended wheelbase. Trim lever is almost left at default position. I feel, very, scary.
