So if this holds true, then most likely these are made in Hong Kong, not mainland China.
At least now you all have a better idea to form you decision. Though I think we can drop the priority of it being a terrorist or child labor setup. Though as dar as being made under a authoritarian government with lax labor and enviromental laws.... (See? Still is never a simple black and white issue).

My MR01 has the same gear ratio as my Iwaver, i can esentially replace the MR01 steering gears with Iwaver gears. I'm not sure what he was talking about when i read that review. My Xmod had nowhere near the turning radius of my Iwaver.

You don't understand the comment then. The servo gears aren't what effects the proportional. Its the electronics. Hes simply telling you in that review that how many "steps" per side for steering is rather low then I would assume a traditional miniz. Basically, how smooth a steering range it will have (which it seems it won't).
