Ok...if you are seriously interested in drifting..when your parents ask you what you would like for your first car..say either
1995ish 240SX
1991+ Toyota MR2 turbo or non turbo, doesn't matter
late 80s, early 90s supra
late 80s early 90s RX7

or if they really love you
1994ish 300ZX
1994ish 3000GT
1993 and up RX7

REMEMBER: MANUAL TRANSMISSION

or an older import like a corolla SR5 or possibly AE86 Corolla GTS but they are impossible to find in good condition.
Unless your parents are into the whole car scene already they won't be very supportive of your choices or what you want to do with the car, so be open and tell them you would like to take it to the race track, because sneaking around is fun, but you will get caught. Drifting isn't for a busy street. And do your homework on cars. That is all the advice I can offer.
