it isn't alot of trouble if your a knowlegable moder. Anyway all the reason of the point is to use hard compound tires and put alittle wear on then you could just get your hands on some hard compounds and put them on your stock xmod wheels. Plus I have extras like these around from model kits that I fit onto xmods.
look for the 1/28 1/25 model kits thread farther back.
