Nope, the same on the RAYOVAC Charger. No polarity, or other input settings. However it appears that the AC adapter is outputting 14.5 Volts (15.25 is what my Volt Meter says), 4.5Amps and the center is +. However I am unaware of ANY power adater that RS sells that can handle a 4.5amp (4,500 mAh)draw. I would not reccomend using ANY other adapters except the ones designed for this charger (I doubt that it matters if the label says RS or Rayovac on it.) Using anything else could end up damaging the power supply, the charger or the batteries. I doubt that RS would have an adapter in the store to do what you want. You either need to print out the car part of the manual and take it to a RS store and ask them if you can order one. Call 1-800-THE-SHACK and see if they have anything listed, look at the Rayovac Webpage/Call Rayovac about ordering one from them. Or you could return the charger back to RS and get a Rayovac one from somehwere else and use the order form inside the package and get one from Rayovac in the mail. (They say that the car adapter is a $20.00 value, and you pay something like $3.95 shipping & handling, but that 2nd figure I am not sure about)
