It's too bad you feel that way. I don't know where you come up with the $25 or $30 figure. I am on my fourth batch of cars sent to micro_Amps, and the mod has always been $20 (unless it's the stage 2). Yes you can purchase the mosfets for like 50 cents a piece, however most places charge shipping or a minimum order, which then makes it not so cheap. It probaly does take about an hour to do the mod, more if it is your first time. Speaking of which, it is not an easy mod that anyone can do, perhaps only 10 to 20 percent of the people on this forum have the skill do this mod. I have done the mod myself to at least 7 or 8 cars, and I still send them off to micro_Amps because it is not easy. He has the proper tools and much experience, and his work is top notch. My 2 cents.
