I've managed to fit all the circuitry (using SMD of course

) on one pcb that I've etched by hand. I'm looking at a quad 2 input OR gate package instead of diodes for the 4 middle LEDS to be able to isolate the two (left/right) channels.
How do you power yours? If you're using the NE555 you need a minimum of 6V yes? I'm using the TLC555 (cmos version) that runs at 3V. My pcb includes a 1.2 -> 5V DCDC convertor circuit and I run it off the car's battery.
