JPEG SUCKS

I also see you've converted the images to JPEG. Dont! Use GIF instead. Much tidyer, and if the images are too large (Kb) reduce the color resolusion to 16. That's what I did.

Thanks again mate!

SCANNER SETTING

Man, when you scanned this manual, you (or the default setting on the scanner) set it on BLACK/WHITE. I wish you'd chosen GREYSCALE...

ERRR...

The GPM MZ038/39 IS a Mabuchi FK130SZ. Albeit different versions of it.
And the Mini-z stock (and x-speed and their likes) is a Mabuchi FA130. (or was it FK130...?)

The main difference between...

OK THEN

But buy an F1. That way you'll get the best from two worlds. RTR at a relatively ok price and the possibility to upgrade as you go along. The F1 really is a stunning performer.

Have fun!

Wheel Conversion Done.

Tamtechs were originally delivered with SPONGE tyres. No options available. Sponges suck on hard surfaces. No problem, static-scale-model rubber tyres grip nicely.

...Until Kyosho mini-z F1 came...

Not to mention the fact that the Kawada has a Mabuchi FK130SZ, which also is sold by GPM as MZ038/39. (Albeit...

The car was tested "as is", and you can rest asured the car will be honed in all possible ways. As mentioned in the text, bearings WILL arrive. Later. And updates will be done accordingly.

Well, it isn't MY car. A good friend of mine accidentally found one in a shop here in Scandinavia.

ONE QUESTION (again)

Ball-bearings, which size? Flanged or not?

Since you're offering closeup pics, I'd like to see one of a dismantled rear axle. Showing the diff and the bearings in particular.

Thanks

What's this "smoking electronics" ?

Please explain what precautions you recommend. I think everyone would benefit from more knowledge 'bout it.

Thanks... :)
