Need diagram and page info for Pullback mod!
 

I am looking for the info on how to install the pullback wheels and tires on my bits. Please post a link to where I can read further how to do this. I received my 2 pullbacks yesterday and I am ready for my dual cell to get the larger wheels and tires.

ok rear axle first

you must remove the original wagon wheels from it. this is done by a lot of twisting and pulling. eventually it will give. all that should be on the axle is the gear. the non drive wheel you just glue into place. i suggest jbweld since it holds so damn well. mix the stuff really well. you can let it sit for a few mins before applying. just take a piece of wire or a toothpick and put it in the hole on the wheel and a little on the end of the axle(you can wipe off excess)

the drive wheel you gota cut out some of the center part until it sits flush with the gear(even then the drive wheel sticks out a little more than the non drive side) put some jbweld on the back of the gear and a little in the wheel and on the axle and squeeze everything into place. kinda roll it to center. it doesnt gota be perfect at this point because it wont dry for another 6hours or so. id wait an hour or two and then double check to make sure the wheels are centered properly. let set overnight and the next day you got a new axle with some badass wheels.

front wheels are a little more tricky. the hard part is the first step.

how do you remove the knuckle pin from a bit you ask? two flathead screwdrivers my friend. just wedge them between the wheel and knuckle across from eachother and push upwords very slowly. you will be amazed how simple it is and you wont fudge your wheels too badly in case you wana use em for something. putting the pullbck wheels on is pretty selfe explainatory. if you feel the need to glue the pin back into the knuckle i suggest super glue for this since it dries faster and is less permanent and doesnt require as much strength as the rear.

oooh no...oooh no. He will never drive my dual and tri cell cars.. That is why I bought him a 18 wheeler so he can do whatever he wants with it and I don't care.

And I also am a HUGE Muscle Car man and that is also why I got that body!!.. I would like to get the GTO from the french web site.

thats sad that the french made a gto and none of us merikans did.

I know the feeling. We only have all of these little import bodies and such but no good ole hot rods or oldies.. I want some old mustangs, chevelle, camaro's and such.

i'd go into a whole import vs. domestic rant... but we all know how it turns out...

heh, muscle cars are crazy... dun like them much, but when i see a big, rumbling beast stopped at a light... i change lanes to stay behind it ^_^... but those new mustangs.. .eww.. no respect at all for them! >=(

that's a good tutorial too hog... when i get my pullbacks i know what im doin :D

In your article you suggest to use either 4 front or 4 back weels .. why not till keep the combination of 2 wide rear & 2 narrow front ???

Just a personal preference really - so all the wheels are the same size, giving the effect of "rolling on dubs".
I should of specified that I guess.
Just remember, use spacers on the front wheels if you're going to use the smaller "front pullback" wheels for the front wheels on your bit, otherwise you're going to rub on your chassis.

i have to disagree with cabo in personal preference. i like having the rear all jacked up and mulleted out.

Always go Hot Rod style baby!!....Keep em Big in the Rear and smaller in the front.:D
