My kinda kick-ass bit clone
 

well, here is a picture of my bit. I have only hd it for about a week and a half and I have already done a couple of mods. I lowered the body a bit, put softer rear tires on, did a long range antenna mod, and please note the grill I put in the front. If anyone has time to give me an opinion, what do you think? :D

Looks really good...... What did you make the grille with?

thanks. I made the grill with that grate thats under the faucet of a sink. you know waht i'm talking about? I forgot where but I got the idea from somwhere in this forum:D

guess what, I just went to a hobby store to look at some bits and noticed a kinda screwed up looking bit on a desk. I asked the manager what was the story with the car and he told me it was broken. I asked if I could see it and noticed the only problem was that the gear was put on backwards. I asked the guy if I could buy it cheap for "scrap" and he just said I could have it for free. HOW COOL IS THAT?:cool: :D :D :D the only problem is that the front right tire is missing. otherwise, I got a free chassis, motor, body, and rear gear set. I am not exactly sure what kind of body it is, though. here are the pics:D

That's pretty funny that somebody put the axle on backwards and just gave up when it didn't run. :D

Agreed, nice grill. How did you lower the body?

I lowered the body by grinding down the slots the tabs on the chassis click into. pretty easy and cool mod;)
