My car is slow
It only got 107 scale MPH on the Bit Pimp's MPH clock. Woulda done 8 seconds on bit quarter mile. I've seen ppl with dual cells do it in 2 or 3 seconds so I want to get 4 or 5 seconds on my single cell. List some really good setups. Plus I only get 5ft range anyway (tested on a 10ft stretch, got 4 seconds & had to sit at 5ft mark & just barely got in the area of range) Whats the EASIEST (No solder required & no my car has no crip cap) range mod

as for speed, motors and gears are the answer.... mine's not all that fast either... but it's fast enuf to flip and slide pretty far, that's all i know...
as for range... ur antenna shouold be folded under the PCB and knotted... unfold the whole damn thing and route it straight out the back like in the picture of the toyeast heatsink... somewhere in this forum... *there is a very real possibility of some busted wires occuring when you do this... |
I redid the antenna just like Strider did his. Litterally doubled my range. Went 9-10 feet w/out stuttering. My time went down to 3.6-3.7 seconds due to less stuttering (Used a pocket watch, gotta dig up a stopwatch somewere to officially time it) Note 113-125 scale MPH on the 10 footer (3.6-4 seconds) Wanna get it down to 2.5 or 2. I know I need a new motor. Project: Fastest Single Cell car on earth.

why dont u just do a double cell???? It makes a huge improvement (speed and range) and its so easy to do!

Its kinda hard without a soldering iron or a charger. Plus I like challenges :)
