Help with lights
how do you put them on your car? there's so much wire that everything is pushing against each other and the lights and switches dont stay in place. anyone used toyeast's perfection light sets on their cars? could u take a picture of the inside of your shell so i can see how to place my lights? thanks in advance.
i have the blue and white set. I can't install my blue set in my fairladyz anyone know how? |
some bodies dont have enuff space for lights. i dont have a 350z body yet so i dont know how much room there is in em, but they look small.

yup it should fit, barely though. I don't have a pic of the inside.
In the pic attached i have 2 sets lol (one white/blue, and red), that was pushing it. I'm still figuring out how to wire it using one battery, but I don't know the specific values (resistance etc) for my leds. |

A simple answer.......... www.geocities.com/BitRacing .....

i'm working on bit lights, only my'n is going to have a chip which takes inputs from the rf board and turns on the lights when you press forward twice or something similar, i got this idea from mikes mods, i think its at www.ukbitcharg.co.uk

I put a perfection set in my Pickup.
http://custombitbodys.home.attbi.com...LightedPU4.jpg But I put black electrical tape on the body before installing the lights so the light doesn't glow through the hood. I lowered the front end on this body so the light set was touching the suspension bar. I cured that by putting in a spring suspension and removing the bar. I did cut the springs so the chassis was lowered too. http://www.rcmod.com/cars/bilbo/rcmod3.jpg I'm begining to wish I didn't sell my blue light set to a coworker. |
nice bilbo, way to keep the light from coming out from underneath!:)

I used the same trick on lexan bodies when I was racing 24th scale slot cars.
