Help to identify clone motors
Hey guys,
below is a pic of the motors I got in four bensu clones: http://www.prahranpianos.com/bit_g/motors.jpg The left one is blue, middle is yellow, right is white. Below is a pic of the motors I got from the "mini-rc" clone, I think these ones are the same as the white bensu motor. http://www.prahranpianos.com/bit_g/motors2.jpg Can anyone help as to the spec of these motors? 1.0, 2.0, ....? Thanks, ph2t. |
first of all the x.x rating system is bs. actual rpms under no load is not a good way to rate a motor.
second of all just the color of the endcap doesnt mean a whole lot since most motor manufacturers buy parts from the same place. |
The one on the far right (white) I have like 3 or 4 of those, and I think those are like a 3.5 or something. TONS of power, and plenty of speed to spare.

i have one like the one on the right and it has horible torque i think its a 3.0 or a 2.6

Thanks for the info guys....
audi-tt and xatu: The motors you have that you are drawing a comparison to, are those clone motors as well or legit tomy ones? thanks, ph2t.. |
I got mine out of a clone car.... forget the name, but it's from wal mart! :p

xatu,
Wallmart sells clones named motorworks. By fun toys? |
I have one that looks like the white one to the far right, it came with my Lxx and is suppose to be a 3.0, in truth it runs more line a 2.2, sorry motor.
I also have one that looks like the blue one to the far left, I think it came from a MS Sport and is a 1.0. DarkTari |
I did post a reply to that post..... No they are not motorworks, they are 'micro turbo racers'.
