My "RC" Dukes of Hazzard Wrist Racer
1 Attachment(s)
If your around my age you probably remember the Dukes of Hazzard wrist racer cars that you wownd up and launched from your wrist-worn pod. This project was inspired for my love of that toy and fusing it with todays technology. I had to start out with a Z-car as they have the smaller chassis. Alot of dremeling, carving and fitting but I did get a look that I'm pleased with. Of course seeing this thing run around of the floor brings a smile to my face as remember back when I was 7 and the thought of controlling it via RC was a pipedream. Whatta ya think?

I am presently working on molding and casting it .
I also have a 18 window samba that I'm working on . Don't worry , when it's all done and ready , you'll be one of the first to know . |
Fourustwentius, the metal was just too heavy for me .
With a dual batt mod , I could get wheelies , but I wasn't happy with the handling , . The resin body should solve that . |
