lions are a lot harder to charge. they have to be regulated. plus they are expensive.

if you have to ask these questions this is not the mod for you.

145 mah battery cell http://www.b-p-p.com/kokam145.htm

xi li-poly charger http://homefly.com

Regulating them just means your wall transformer needs to be regulated. You can find them for under $10 at RadioShack. Ask one of their employees for help. It's no biggy at all. Instructions come with the xi charger from homefly.

I love this mod.

I would not recommend it in a bit/sizer unless the chassis is extended. The speed and power overwhelm even the longest of cars....so the longer the better. This mod is preferred for Zips.

hmm interesting. they dont weigh that much either.

Stridex 02-25-2003 04:49 PM

They weight about the same as a stock battery. Maybe even a little less. These batteries are light.

which is better

which is better for drag racing a lion or a laymans tri cell mod?
