How to fit custom bodies to your chassis
1 Attachment(s)
This hit me the other day when I was playing with a few die-cast bodies. I needed something quick and that would hold the body on in the worst of conditions. I also wanted something that didn't require a dremel or permanent fixtures.
Here's what I did. 1. Lay down a piece of electrical tape. 2. put a piece of foam right down the center. 3. Lay an additional piece of tape down, making sure it aligns perfectly with the bottom piece. Now cut it to size and adhere them to the sides of the car body so they press firmly against the chassis. It works great for even the heaviest of bodies. It's a lot less weight then just adding layer after layer of tape. pic 1 of 2 |
