Quality of newer Microsizers!
 

I was wondering if anyone can tell me how the quality is on these guys now. I last bought Microsizers about six months ago. I went through about six cars and none of them would go straight and the trim control was useless. I was wondering if any of you who bought cars in the last two months had noticed if your trim was in the center at time of purchase and if the car would go straight out of box.

when i got my cars the trim was straight but they both turned to the right so i got replacement chasis

The 2 that I have bought have ran relatively straight out of the box, but their trim adjusters were turned all the way to the left (looking at the underside of the chassis). I fiddled w/it and found that it was best to leave it where it was. Adjusting it to dead center made the cars run way left. Kinda weird since you would think having the trim set dead center should make the car run straight. Oh well another of those unexplained mysteries of the universe.:D

i have the same issue with my cars they need the trim set to the left to go straight>

how did you get replacment chassis?

Contact Hobbico.

do they make you send the old one back?

You look on the underside of your car or controller for the FCC Number. Hobbico will ask for it when you contact customer service. If they deem your problem worthy then you get a free chassis! Chances of that heppening: Very high! Hobbico has over-the-top customer service :D

the steering issue can sometimes resolved by checking to see if the magnet is mounted corectly... int he middle of the mount.

The point is out of the box the car should work fine. It seems to me their quality control isn't so hot so I was seeing if it had improved. Here's a fact for you guys to chew on: Hobbico only allows two replacement parts per person even if you bought a tractor trailer full.

I bought a microsizers sport, out of the box, with trim in center, the car wasn't going straigt. I had to put the trim all the way to the left to get the car run straight. Well, might as well try the Hobbico customer service center.

did you think about just returning it to where you got it and exchanging it? if you got it from target you can exchange it.

This was months ago and it was from mail order. I just sold them on eBay! :p

Hope fully I can get a replacement chassis because my back tab broke.
