New MINI body
1 Attachment(s)
I bought a another Dahm's Killer Bee body. But I did some research and found out it was modeled to look like the Peugeot 205 turbo 16 rally car that had a mid engine and four wheel drive. The car was called the Audi Quarto killer was raced successfully in group B rally racing. Then a driver was killed driving a 205t16 and group B racing was ended by the FIA. So the only thing I could not get scale looking was the Michelin logo sticker my Stika vinyl cutter kept missing up on quarter inch tall letters. So I used Yokohama stickers I had instead. It was real challenge painting the stripes.

i just recently bought an hpi mini civic body to take advantage of hobby people's labor day sale. i recently took a hard crash at the track and well, my aluminum steering setup broke. so now im back to stock. at anyrate, my car is now an m01-m chassis with a 225 wheel base. mounted my aluminum rims and now the car is sweet. its nice cuz the real civic is also fwd.. ill post pics probably tomorrow. ive scuffed up the body already quite a bit cuz the tamiya tires grip differently than the hpi radials..

Can't wait to see the photos. I picked up a HPI MINI body also at Hobby people can't beat 25% off:D Tamiya tires suck they fall apart after just a few battery packs.I have been running the HPI mini X pattern tires really hard they show no wear what so ever. That the only thing bad about the TCS races you have to use Tamiya tires:mad:

which body did you get? ill probably invest in some x patterns too..

I purcased the MINI cooper body it is 210mm body that will fit.I am think about a car with the British flag on top like in Austin Powers Gold Member movie.Ya?

yeah, the union jack would be cool. perhaps anythign as long as the color on the roof is different. ive seen a british green coop with a union jack on top. that was pretty cool. i was thinking of making a taxi mini.. but they dont have very many bodies at hobby people for the mini.
