Harping on newbies will be DELETED.

I'm starting to notice more negativety toward the newbies, as far as telling them to use the 'search' function.

These Forums are NOT going to turn into a place where people are afraid to ask questions.

There's a SIMPLE thing you can do if you're tired of seeing the same questions...DON'T reply.

We're not going to hand out warnings for any offenders, we're just going to edit/delete comments (so don't be surprised).

Things are going to be kept FRIENDLY here at TinyRC!

Excellent

I'm glad you guys have decided to keep the friendly environment.

But i have to say sometimes it's just easier to point out the search function i personally don't mind doing the search myself and posting a link to the results .

but yeah all you guys that're being just a bit too hard on the new guys give em a break we were all new at 1 point.

I agree... If people are afraid to ask questions, then this board will begin to lose it's awsome appeal...

can we make fun of the moderators at least?

PWalk 02-13-2003 01:05 PM

Well said airbob, who didn't post a "Hi I'm new to this" post when they first signed up?

Besides it takes 2 seconds to point a newbie in the right direction.

Spanky 02-13-2003 07:25 PM

i didnt post a "hi im new here"

Pojo 02-13-2003 08:04 PM

Neither did I, but I try to never intimidate newbies.
