initial D set
 

you guys think that the initial d set will release for MS when initial d come out in the US?? seriously i dont think initial d should come to the u.s. because its going to ruin a truley awsome anime.. i mean the US manga already stinks.. :rolleyes: :mad:

who told ya the initial d set is coming to ms and who told ya initial d the shows and stuff is coming to america?

I dont know about the MS release, but TokyoPop is working on the US version of InitialD, they may change the names, music and who knows what else when it releases! check it out-- tokyopop.com

i heard that theres gonna be a english version of iD. But if they do its gonna ruin it....i dunno if i will watch it, i'll probably watch it to see how 'off' the information is from the real iD. i have Cantonese version so its all good and i understand it and theres no subs. :D

i have the whole series in japanese/chinese with sub titles.. i was just asking if anyone thinks that they will release the ID set in the US.. but yeah tokyo pop kills all animes.. except a few..

I just want the car set, keep the anime in Japanese.

probably not. although if they did, they'd probably do around the same time the anime/video game was released over here...

well tokyo pop does bring over good titles like GTO, but i dont watch it in english

and yeah, the US version of iD is gonna blow......i forgot most of the english names but like.....Ikitami {sp?) is gonna be Izzy and crap...wonder if they are gonna not evn menthion the word "drift"...
if they start playing that show on tv, ill have mixed results....
first of all youll all of a sudden start to see a large boom in drifting in the united states.....well drifting is done in the US, but mainly in Hawaii, and western parts of the US....some in Flordia too....
what i DONT want to see, is people trying to drift FWD cars...sure people TRY to do it, and TRY to make it look good and fast, but it isnt .....
i never want to see on the news, "two teenagers were killed this night trying to drift through the downtown streets of dallas" blah blah...
its like the Fast And Furious, when that movie came out....within one week a handful of idiots died TRYING to race....and i dont want drifting to get that bad image

true. i don't want drifting get bad image either. but looks like 2 fast 2 furious will be loved by those wanna be racers.

Yeah well the only high point in the series is the racing but even that get's old. So i'm not sure if it will really catch on in America or cause a mass movement towards drifting.

that is terrible

the only thing i dont like about initial d is somtimes the camera angle sucks....even though they made Battle Stage...that didnt help at all....some of the best parts are at horrable spots..
WHY do they have to use moving camears?? they seem to want to copy GT3 or other car games cinematic angles....;/

iniital d has pretty crappy angels and some times the shot is a little dark during races..but another than that its a solid anime.. manga is great too.. but the NA version.. terrible.:mad:
