Multi Channel Controller

I was wondering how good the range is on the multi controller. I opened my Mach 5 and Skyline controllers up and they didn't have a capacitor (unless I'm blind which is possible). So I was thinking of just getting a new controller. Is it worth it (good range) and if so where is a good site to order from?

edit: oops posted in wrong forum sorry

i dont have one myself. but after reading here for a while i've gotten a bad impression on the range of the multi-controller. however supposedly you can add range on the controllers by adding a third or fourth battery.

i have a booster yes, but it came with a controller (was originally the 350z but i put a supra body on it). I believe he is talking about the multi-channel multi-frequency controller. I may be wrong though. Either way my bit came with 20-30 feet range stock.
