Are Bit Char G parts compatible with Micro mites??

I got a Micro Mite (like a clone of the Bit Char-g also known as OEM Bullet) and well i was wondering if the Bit parts can fit it. I was told all bodies, tires, and fron suspension will fit, but the gear kits and motor over 2.6 will not work. Is this true?

Most parts are compatible, yes; why wouldn't > 2.6 work?

I was told the 2.6 will work, but the 3.0 will not because of the high gear ratio of the Micro Mites.
